Close to  Esentepe, we have some superb 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments (showhouse now open for your inspection) just 200 metres from the beach and at Kyrenia there are 3 bedroom apartments from £68950 and with a 10% guaranteed rental return as well as 2 bedroom apartments from £45000. As from April 2008 all new properties in Northern Cyprus have to legally be registered with The Land Registry Office to guarantee your ownership of the property.

"Ten thousand Britons who have bought homes in Northern Cyprus won the right to keep them yesterday. The original owners of the land their villas are built on, had been demanding compensation - or for the villas to be demolished.

But a High Court judge told David and Linda Orams yesterday, they could keep their property in the Islands Turkish controlled zone. The test case will protect the rights of other foreign property owners there.

The Orams are amongst thousands of Britons to have bought in the North, where property is cheaper than in Southern Greek Cypriot areas.

The decision carries weight in Britain because Cyprus is now a member of the European Union."
